• 1 x 155 g Royal Ocean Pilchards in tomato sauce
  • 5-6 lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 1 medium yellow pepper
  • 1 medium red pepper
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • Salad dressing of your choice
As is the case with most fish, pilchards fish are a good food choice for the excellent health of your heart. That is because they contain essential oils and minerals that are great for your heart. Combining them here with the lettuce and other vegetables makes this salad absolutely nutritious. You can enjoy this as a complete meal on it’s own. Well, a light, scrumptious meal! And best of all is that it will take less than 5 minutes to prepare.

  • Chopping board
  • Sharp knife

Instructions

  1. Get your ingredients together. These include; 1 x 155 g Royal Ocean Pilchards in tomato sauce
    5-6 lettuce leaves
    1 large tomato
    1 medium green pepper
    1 medium yellow pepper
    1 medium red pepper
    1 medium cucumber
    Salad dressing of your choice
  2. Break up the lettuce into medium sized pieces. Chop or slice the rest of the vegetables whichever way you fancy.
  3. Spread them on top of the salad. Separate the pilchards from the sauce.
  4. Break up the pilchards into medium sized pieces and place over the vegetables. Drizzle the salad dressing of your choice just before serving. Enjoy!
