Sirloin Steaks With Green Beans And Mushrooms

Ingredients

Recipe makes 4 Servings

1 Lb beef top sirloin steak
1 Tsp salt
1/2 Tsp H-E-B Pure Ground Black Pepper
2 Tbsp H-E-B Select Ingredients Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 fresh garlic clove(s), chopped
1 Lb sugar snap peas
1 Pt whole mushrooms, sliced
1 cup(s) white onion(s), sliced
1/2 cup(s) white wine

Instructions

Generously season steak with salt, pepper, half of olive oil, and garlic.

Remove top rack from oven and place steak directly on it. Set aside.

Place foil or a sheet pan on bottom rack of a cool oven (to catch drippings and prevent smoke). Turn oven to broil (High).

Place rack with steak in hot oven. Do not let oven door close completely. If this is a problem, fashion a wedge out of foil to keep door cracked open.

Cook steak 5 minutes, then carefully remove and flip over. Cook an additional 5 minutes.

Remove steak and let stand 10 minutes before slicing.

Meanwhile, in a large sauté pan over medium heat, combine remaining olive oil, green beans, mushrooms, and onions. Sauté approximately 10 minutes.

Add wine, turn off heat and cover until steaks are ready.
