Persian cucumber is an heirloom or hybrid bitterless cucumber cultivar well known for its sweet mild taste, thin spineless skin and crunch. The Persian cucumber has many varieties and is also known as the Beit Alpha, Beit Alfa, Middle Eastern cucumber, Lebanese cucumber and sometimes called mini-cucumber. This cucumber is considered among burpless cucumbers owing to its low level of the compound cucurbitacin. It has thin edible skin and very few tiny seeds which mainly remain underdeveloped.

Cinnamon basil is a type of basil cultivar containing the compound methyl cinnamate which is responsible for its vibrant aromatic cinnamon fragrance. The herb has generally similar applications to the more common genovese basil. Also known as Mexican basil, cinnamon basil is a fully edible plant whose leaves and flowers can be used in a variety of recipe preparations. Pimento peppers is an umbrella name encompassing a range of sweet pepper varieties that look somewhat similar to bell peppers but apparently differs in taste, shape and size. Pimento, also sometimes written as Pimiento, is Spanish for pepper. Depending on variety, the pepper can have an appearance of a miniature pumpkin, can be conical or heart-shaped with red or blood red skin and flesh when fully ripe. Just like bell peppers, pimento peppers have zero pungency and are used in a variety of culinary recipe applications.

English cucumber is a slicing cucumber cultivar which is generally eaten raw and frequently used in salads. It has a thin skin and is often consumed without need to peel the skin. Also known for its non-bitterness and having very little to no seeds at all, the English cucumber is also considered a burpless cucumber. This is to say, it does not cause digestive issues that trigger burping in some individuals as occurs with regular cucumber. The cucumber is also known by its other names of seedless cucumber, European cucumber, burpless cucumber and hothouse cucumber.
