Roasted Sausage and Veg

  • 500 g chicken sausage
  • 1 large butternut
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 1 medium red pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp oil

Sausage is one of those meats which are so easy to prepare in the same way ever so often. I have here  another simply way you can prepare it.  You can serve this with some rice, pasta or potatoes with some gravy or sauce.

 

Do This

  1. Get your ingredients together. Cut the sausage and vegetables into medium sized pieces.
  2. Put the vegetables in a bowl. Add the oil, salt and Italian seasoning. Give a quick toss until all the vegetables are evenly coated with the seasoning. Add the sausage and give another quick toss.
  3. Place the sausage and veggies in your oven tray or oven proof dish. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes or until sausage is browned and the butternut is tender. Enjoy!
